Being a community club, we are dedicated towards helping the community and to raise funds for charities. The club has designed 2 packages for fundraising to make the event hassle free and as simple possible for you and your team, giving you more time to orginise donations, prizes, promotion and encourage people to attend the event.
We will give you the use of the clubhouse for free, a trivia package for free ( which includes interactive power point presentation, 8 rounds of questions, answer booklets, bonus games such as heads or tails and pencils). The trivia package can easily be run by one of your coordinators (we will give a quick lesson on how to use the laptop and also the PA system) or the club's staff can host the night for you (a fee of $25 per hour applies). The room will be set to your specifications - tables based on your final numbers and how many per table), auction tables, rego tables etc. The club can facilitate up to 100 pax for this event. In the past groups have raised in excess of $7,000 using this package and the night is enjoyed thoroughly by all that attend.
A great way to have fun in the afternoon and also raise some money for a worthy cause. The club will provide the green and equipment free of charge. If needed, the deck area alongside the bowling green can be reserved for your event for things such as rego, auctions, seating, entertainment, activities etc. There will be a coach on the green to help coordinate social play, games and competitions. We are happy to help generate a run sheet for the event and provide you with games that have worked well in the past. Bowls events can cater for up to 100 pax. Generally, bowls events run for 2 hours, but if you wanted to promote your event for a longer period of time you can book for up to 6 hours. Additional fundrasing activites can also be carried out in the main club house if required.
Keep in mind that the club is also happy to promote the event in house by means of posters, e-letters and our website if you wish for the event to be open to the public.
Other options available:
- Food specials and packages can be organised at a fee, or if preferred the club's bistro can be open for people to purchase meals at their own cost
- Tickets for raffles can be organised
- Random Number Generator can be used for raffles and prizes
- Donations from the club for raffles and silent auctions can be organised
Please note that all events using the fundraising packages are required to be a registered fundraiser with the charity that is being promoted. The club will require a copy of the events registration when booking the event
