Comp & Social Bowls

The Neutral Bowling Club is an affiliated club of Bowls NSW. Our players have enjoyed success in State events, including Championships, Pennants and other inter club events. There is enthusiastic participation in our Club Championships and regular social games.

The Neutral Bay Club is the oldest existing sporting club in NSW nestled at the end of Westleigh Street and boasting six rinks of synthetic grass. The synthetic green allows us to play at any time, even after the heaviest of overnight rain.

We have had championship success over the years with members winning State titles and representing NSW in inter-state games. Whilst we are very proud of our competitive performances, the priority is our social games. The Neutral Bay Club is where fun and collegiality is just as important as the competitive aspect.

Social bowls is scheduled on Saturday mornings, on Wednesdays the women play in the morning and the men in the afternoon. Championships and some of our home Pennant matches are arranged to accommodate working members.

We are also interested in fostering teenagers who would like to give bowls a go as we want to do all we can to dispel the myth that bowls is only for old people.

New members are more than welcome and there is free coaching on Tuesday mornings. Send an email to functions@neutralbayclub.com and our coach will contact you to arrange a convenient day for you to come down and play.
