Please read the following terms and conditions carefully and if agreed, check the box below.
Barefoot Bowls
- Bowls bookings will be given two to three hours to play. If there are no other bookings, you are welcome to play for longer otherwise you may be required to vacate the area before the next scheduled game commences.
- You will be assigned a table next to your bowling rink for the duration of your bowls booking. If you would like to stay for longer, an additional table reservation must be made to ensure seating is available for your group.
- No children under the age of 12 are allowed to play.
- Bare feet, socks or any flat soled shoe (no heels, wedges or spikes allowed).
- Maximum of 20 people per rink
Rain, wind or heat
- The club reserves the right to cancel all bowls games and functions without notice in the event of severe weather conditions, including but not limited to heavy rain, storms, heat waves and any other conditions the club sees as a risk to the safety of its patrons.
- In the event of severe weather, the club will provide a credit for bowls to be played on another day free of charge, to be used within 6 months of its issue. If this is not possible then a refund may be considered.
- It will be up to Neutral Bay Club to cancel and not the client. In most cases light rain will not affect the event as we have greens designed to drain very well. In the event of heavy rain or heat wave our staff will contact you to arrange an alternative date.
Payments
Bowls
- For bowls bookings between 10 and 19 players, a $200 deposit is required to secure the rink/s. This can be used towards the cost of bowls or drinks on the day (but not food).
- For Bowls bookings in December, all rinks will be charged a minimum of $200 per rink.
Function spaces
- For 20 or more people, a $200 deposit is required to be paid beforehand to secure the space. This can be used towards bowls or drinks on the day (does not include food) or refunded after your event.
- If hiring exclusive use of the clubhouse, a non-refundable $500 hire fee is required.
Final numbers need to be confirmed no less than 7 days prior to your booking.
All payments are paid via the payment link sent by Accounts no less than 7 days prior to your booking.
Cancellations
- Two weeks notice of cancellation will result in 100% of the payment being refunded.
- Between one and two week’s notice will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
- One week and under will result in 100% cancellation fee.
- The booking date can be changed, with no further modifications, free of charge up to 1 week prior to the booking date.
Food and Catering
- All catering requirements are managed through Lusso Kitchen (functions@lussokitchen.com.au).
- Full payment for catered food is due 7 days prior to event date to confirm.
- Specialty food orders are non-refundable.
- Catering may be cancelled with no charges up to seven (7) full business days prior to the event.
- Cancellation within a week of event and/or fully paid will be charged the full amount.
- Two to three days prior to event customer may reschedule catered food within 12 months of original function date.
- Full Payment will be credited toward the new date.
- If new date is cancelled then the full amount will not be refunded.
- Note refunds are the sole discretion of Lusso Kitchen. Although an event may be cancelled or rescheduled, Lusso Kitchen reserves the right to allow for consulting and coordinating when or if determining to allow for a cancellation or refund of any amount or for any reason.
- Only food purchased at the club can be consumed at the club.
- As the Neutral Bay Club is a licenced club, we do not allow outside food or beverages to be brought inside the premises.
- You are more than welcome to bring a celebration cake, we do not charge for bringing your own cake.
Booking Times
- Clients must stick to their booking times, we ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your booking time and report to the bar.
- NBC will always try to accommodate patrons but in busy times this may not be possible.
- When booking the Raised Deck, you are guaranteed three hours - after this time, you may be moved to another area of the club. If you need additional time, let us know.
Damage
The client will be held fully responsible for any loss or damage which is caused to the Neutral Bay Club or any of its property, or to the property of any of the patrons of the Neutral Bay Club, by any guests of your function. The client fully indemnifies the Neutral Bay Club in respect of any and all such losses.
Music
Depending on the space booked for the function there are music options available. The volume of the music is at the manager’s discretion. Noise restrictions will be in place as we are in a residential location and all function activities and outside noise will conclude by 10:00 pm.
Inside functions can play music till midnight
Decorations
You may decorate your function space at your own discretion. You are not permitted to use any decorations that may cause damage to the Neutral Bay Club or any of its property (including e.g., any decorations that would require affixing to the walls of the club with nails).
No confetti type or slime like products allowed.
Please note that any decorations left at the end of a function will be disposed of unless otherwise agreed to in writing by prior arrangement.
Responsible service of alcohol and compliance
The Neutral Bay Club is committed to the responsible service of alcohol of at all times. The Neutral Bay Club and its licensee assumes responsibility for all persons in the club and reserve the right to refuse entry, refuse service, or remove any person that management feels is in any way behaving contrary to what is deemed acceptable by the approved government bodies or house policy.
Under no circumstances will any persons who are intoxicated by alcohol or any other substance be allowed entry or permitted to stay on the premises. If a person is asked to leave the premises and refuses to do so, management is required by law to notify the police immediately and that person may be subject to a fine for ‘failure to quit a licensed premises’.
Any persons involved in criminal activity such as violence, sale or use of prohibited drugs or possession of weapons will be turned over to the police immediately without hesitation.
No compensation will be afforded to any member of the function or its host if a member of the function is refused entry, refused service, or removed from the premises.
