Each camp runs for 5 weekdays and offers the following standards and skill sets.
This is for 5 – 8 year olds. Offering a basic introduction to tennis, this group coaching gives young beginners self-confidence and helps them to develop gross motor skills in a fun environment. The use of a red ball, which is larger than the standard yellow ball and doesn’t bounce as high (25% compression) allows even the youngest player to achieve a measure of success.
Coaching 8 – 10 year olds with an orange ball, which bounces a little higher but still not at full compression (50%), encourages the continuing development of their physical skills and self-confidence while also introducing them to techniques and stroke mastery.
For children of 9+ the group coaching sessions uses a green ball (75% compression) which allows young players to focus on perfecting their court technique and strokes.
For experienced juniors as a transition towards adult play.
